Volkswagen Eager to Produce Cars in Russia

Volkswagen confirmed its interest in car production in Russia, Deputy Ministry of Industry, Science and Technology Sergey Mitin announced at a press conference today. The issue is currently being considered by the Board of Directors of the concern. The company will prefer the new car factory's location to be in Stupino in the Moscow region. A task force created by the Moscow region's government and the Ministry of Industry, Science and Technology will provide recommendations to the car giant as to the models and number of cars to be produced.
