Russian Company Makes a Claim on U.S. Government

The Energopromstroi-1 company has filed a lawsuit in the Moscow Court of Arbitration against the United States Government to the sum of nineteen million dollars, said the company's president Vladimir Semago.

According to him, the Energopromstroi-1 company has concluded a number of advantageous contracts with Iraq for the construction of electric stations near Baghdad.

The U.S. military operation in Iraq has made it impossible for the Russian company to put these projects into practice. With regard to this, the Russian company lost nineteen million dollars.

If this lawsuit is not accepted by the Americans, "the company's lawyers will insist on arresting the accounts of the U.S. Embassy in Moscow," said Vladimir Semago.
