UES of Russia develops cooperation with US equipment suppliers

The Unified Energy Systems of Russia has hosted a meeting between a US Ex-Im Bank delegation headed by vice chairman Eduardo Aguirre and UES representatives headed by first deputy chairman of the board Leonid Melamed. Russian and US diplomats also took part in the session.

The parties discussed prospects for cooperation between the energy holding and American companies supplying energy equipment, and possibilities of their participation in Russian energy investment projects, as RIA Novosti learned at the UES mass media department.

The Ex-Im representatives expressed their interest in intensifying links between American enterprises and the UES. They voiced their willingness together with the US Department of Commerce and Energy Department to inform the American business circles on the prospects for energy equipment supplies and investment processes in the Russian power industry.

The US Ex-Im Bank is a state agency for guaranteeing supplies of American companies' products and investment projects with their participation, the mass media department pointed out.
