Cooper Cameron Names Jack Moore As New President

Cooper Cameron Corporation has named Jack B. Moore as president of its Cameron division, responsible for the day-to-day operations of Cameron's businesses. He replaces Cooper Cameron Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Sheldon R. Erikson, who had also been serving as interim president of Cameron.

Moore joined Cameron in July 1999 as vice president and general manager, Western Hemisphere, after 23 years with Baker Hughes Incorporated, where he held a variety of marketing, manufacturing and human resources positions. He holds a BBA degree in finance and marketing from the University of Houston. "Jack has played a key role in the Company's growth and success while managing our Western Hemisphere operations," Erikson said. "His broad range and depth of industry knowledge, his international experience and his successful track record make him an ideal candidate to lead Cameron."

Cameron, a division of Cooper Cameron Corporation, is a manufacturer of drilling and production equipment, valves, and related products. Product lines include Cameron(R), W-K-M(R), Cactus(R), DEMCO(R), McEvoy(R), Willis(R), Foster(R), Orbit(R) and Thornhill Craver(TM). Cameron has manufacturing facilities worldwide.
