Despite rough weather, searches for Mi-6 helicopter continue

Rescue operation for search of Russian Mi-6 helicopter with 21 people on board (8 of the crew and 13 passengers) that disappeared near Taimyr has already started. Despite the rough weather conditions, a Mi-8 helicopter took off for searches with ten rescuers from Norilsk, Dudinka and Krasnoyarsk on board.

Besides, searches continue on land; by 8:00 p.m. local time, frontier guards from Eclipse have searched about 15 km of the route followed by the helicopter. Nothing has been found yet.
