AvtoVAZ concerned about steel prices
AvtoVAZ has elaborated a program of measures aimed at minimizing consequences of the recently increased steel prices, the press service of the automobile manufacturing plant reported. According to Vitaly Vilchik, general director of the company, the program envisages contracts with alternative suppliers of steel including foreign partners. It is also necessary to create a special agency that will be in change of ordering steel supplies for AutoVAZ and other domestic automobile producers, the general director pointed out.
