Sri Lanka interested in early resumption of Aeroflot flights to Colombo
Sri Lanka is interested in an early resumption of Aeroflot flights to Colombo, Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Tiron Fernando said. According to him, the cessation of Aeroflot flights had a negative influence on the development of tourism and trade relations between the two countries.
Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Tiron Fernando discussed the resumption of flights with his Russian counterpart Igor Ivanov.
The sides also expressed satisfaction with the development of trade and economic relations between Russia and Sri Lanka.
Tiron Fernando invited Igor Ivanov to visit Sri Lanka. Ivanov accepted the invitation with gratitude.
