Russia and France Plan to Develop and Manufacture Aviation Motors Together

By the next meeting of the prime ministers of Russia and France, all financial questions in connection with the launch of satellites with the help of the Soyuz launch vehicle from the French Kourou space station in French Guiana will be decided. This was announced by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov before his flight from Paris to Moscow.

As announced by the department of government information in connection with Russian-French cooperation, Kasyanov said that Russia and France intend to work together towards developing and manufacturing aviation motors. He said that the Russian firm Ribinsky Motors is expected to take part in the project.
