Alfa-Bank shareholders choose not to pay dividends for 2001

Shareholders in Alfa-Bank made a decision not to pay dividends for 2001 at the general annual meeting. Additionally, they elected the Board of Directors, consisting of 7 people. The composition of the board has not changed, except for the fact that a representative of the Bank Restructuring Agency was not included in it this year. Shareholders approved the bank's financial records, including a report on profits and losses for 2001. In accordance with this report, the bank's authorized capital reached RUR768.68m ($24.39m), and the amount of assets was RUR116.74bn ($3.7m). The bank's balance-sheet profit amounted to RUR494.76m ($15.7m). Alfa-Bank shareholders also approved ZAO UNOKON/MS Consulting Group, ZAO Intercom-Audit, ZAO KPMG and ZAO PricewaterhouseCoopers as auditors for checking the bank's financial operations in 2002.
