Italians will build an international airport in Russia

Italians will build an international airport in Belgorod (Central Russia). According to the information provided to RIA Novosti in the press centre of the regional administration, entrepreneurs from Milan, father and son Emmanuel and David Rimini, invested funds into the construction of the airport.

At the meeting with Yevgeny Savchenko, the governor of the region, the Italian entrepreneurs also reported that they were prepared to invest money into establishment of a joint venture to produce competitive communications means with use of the most modern telecommunications systems and laser equipment.

In reply to a question of the RIA Novosti correspondent, the Italians stated that the decision of the G-8 to recognize Russia as a country with market economy played a significant role in their intention to invest money into Russia.
