Vladimir Putin to hold press conference in Kremlin on Monday

President of Russia Vladimir Putin will hold a press conference for Russian and foreign journalists in the Kremlin on Monday. As the press service of the head of state said, a total of about 700 representatives of mass media, among them about 70 TV companies, will cover the press conference. Many of them asked the president to grant an interview. But, as the agency's sources in the Kremlin note, the busy work schedule did not allow Vladimir Putin to satisfy their requests.

The presidential administration believes that the forthcoming press conference will help satisfy the interest of the Russian and foreign mass media which want to learn Vladimir Putin's opinion of the course of the reform and of the latest political and economic events in Russia.

According to RIA Novosti's information, in the course of the press conference the president will sum up some results of the country's development over the past few months and will unfold some plans for the future.
