Kazmin elected as Sberbank's CEO for 4 years

At the annual general shareholders' meeting of Russian Sberbank Andrey Kazmin was elected as the Chief Executive Officer of the bank for four years. As the Sberbank Chief said at today's press conference, the elections were straight and were held in accordance with the effective legislation of the Russian Federation and the Charter of the bank. As a result, Kazmin was elected as the bank's CEO for four years. As it was reported earlier, an issue of the early resignation of the bank's Chairman and of the election of the new Chairman (President) of Sberbank was put on the agenda of the annual general shareholders' meeting at the initiative of the minority shareholders. The Supervisory Board, on the other hand, put only the name of Kazmin on the bulletin of voting on the issue of the election of the bank's new CEO.
