Russia adheres non-confrontational international relations

Head of the Russian president's administration Alexander Voloshin has said that Russia adheres to building civilized, non-confrontational international relations.

On Wednesday Voloshin granted diplomas to Russian and foreign graduates of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).

"The world is changing before our eyes, it is leaving the global confrontation behind and goes over to normal civilized relations," he said.

"In these conditions diplomats are protecting their countries' interests, competing for economic markets instead of targeting missiles at each other and discussing the problems of global confrontation that puts the world on the brink of cataclysms," he concluded.
