RAO UES's head to make report in Brussels today

Anatoly Chubais, head of RAO UES, will make a report devoted to the liberalization and integration of the post-Soviet and European energy markets at the European Parliament in Brussels today.

The head of the Russian energy company will tell members of the parliament about the process of the restructuring of the energy sector in Russia and about RAO UES's activity aimed at attracting foreign investments, the PR department of the company reported.

Chubais will report on the position of Russia and the CIS concerning the creation of the Eurasian energy union. The parallel work of the Russian and CIS energy systems with the European energy system of Western, Central and South-Eastern Europe TESIS will result in the optimization of electrical demand and will increase the efficiency of the systems' work due to a rational use of energy, the department specified.
