Israel : 59 victims of bomb blast

A bomb has exploded south of Jerusalem at rush hour, killing 19 and wounding 40, according to the latest figures. The Palestinian authority leadership has condemned the attack and has denied any responsibility in this atrocity.

A Hammas spokesperson has claimed responsibility for the attack, a suicide bombing on a packed bus, calling Israel a “terrorist” country which occupies Palestinian lands, and claiming that while the illegal occupation continues, Israel can expect more of the same, justifying his claim in the 350 children and 2,000 adults killed by Israeli forces since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Intifada in September, 2000.
