Good morning, RIA Novosti opens its news cycle for June 15 Il-76 cargo plane makes an emergency landing at Krasnoyarsk airport

The Il-76 cargo plane has made an emergency landing in the airport of Krasnoyarsk. As the on-duty officer of the Siberian regional center of the Ministry for Emergency Situations has said, the cargo plane (flight No. 76529) with 28 passengers, 12 crew members and 16 tons of cargo on its board flew from Krasnoyarsk to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on Friday.

At a distance of 250 km. from the airport the pilots noticed vibration in one of the plane's four engines. After switching it off, crew commander took a decision to make a landing in Krasnoyarsk.

Soon the aircraft landed in the city's airport. The landing went off well for the plane and the passengers on its board. Specialists have begun to investigate the incident. (fed/lio)
