Russian Chief Military Prosecutor resigns

The Federation Council /the upper chamber of the Russian legislature/ accepted on Friday a resignation of Mikhail Kislitsyn, a Russian Deputy Prosecutor General and the Russian Chief Military Prosecutor. This decision was adopted with 131 votes for, 3 against and one abstention.

According to Yuri Volkov, the representative of the Federation Council in the Prosecutor General's office, Kislitsyn has submitted a resignation on poor health grounds.

Volkov also said that Kislitsyn had ischemia of the heart.
