Illegal bookmakers accept stakes on terrorism attacks

Israeli police is investigating information that appeared about some illegal bookmaker offices that accept stakes as to where in Israel the next act of terrorism will take place.

For example, Israeli radio informs, stakes on any part of the country are accepted in the city of Kiryat Malahi. Stakes on a resort city of Eilat, situated on the Red Sea shores, make up 1 to 17. The small stake is explained by the fact that no serious acts of terrorism have been committed in the area within past 20 months. On the other hand, stakes on Jerusalem are very high - 1 to 1,5, a minimum stake is ten shekels (about $2).

It is interesting, but only attacks of Palestinian suicide terrorists, not response actions of Israel are forecasted. Gambling is prohibited in Israel by the law. Today police arrested two Palestinian female suicide terrorists. One of them, at the age of fifteen, was detained in an attempt to detonate an explosive device.
