Novgorod Machinery Plant's Latest Development Receives High International Acclaim

The latest development of the Novgorod Machinery Plant joint stock company, automatic super-clean packing machines assuring a far longer shelf life of packed products, was highly acclaimed simultaneously at several international exhibitions. According to Zakhary Lerman, the General Director of the plant, the automatic packers allowing 97% to 99% degreasing were developed jointly with the All Russian Research Institute of Dairy Products.

On June 21, in Moscow, the Novgorod company will receive the award of the Dusseldorf World Packing and Packing Machinery Exhibition where Novgorod's automatic packing machines were presented in April this year. This was the first time 10 Russian companies, including the Novgorod Machinery Plant, were represented at such a prestigious exhibition as this, the machinery plant having establised over 300 business contacts.

The super-clean packing method patented by the Novgorod Machinery Plant was awarded a gold medal at the 7th Hi-Tech, Innovations, Investments international exhibition-congress held in St. Petersburg during the Week of High Technologies in St. Petersburg held from June 4 through 7 where Novgorod's products were awarded a total of 1 gold, five silver, and two bronze medals. Beginning June 18, the Novgorod Machinery Plant will present its products at the 5-days-long Russian Packing exhibition in Moscow.
