International conference on Russia's accession to WTO opens in Moscow

On June 13 and 14, Moscow will host an international conference called "Open Russia, World Economy and Competition. On National Economic Strategy and Accession to the World Trade Organization." According to organizers, the forum will focus its attention on competitive positions of the Russian economy in advance of its accession to the WTO.

Russian participants in the conference will also discuss competitive advantages of the Russian economy, specifically the competitive positions of metallurgy, civil air traffic, insurance, automobile industry, etc.

The conference gathers officials from the ministry of economic development and trade and representatives of Russia's major companies, and foreign companies who are interested in promoting their goods on the Russian market.
