Domodedovo Airlines shareholder meeting elects general director

The general annual shareholder meeting of Domodedovo Airlines has elected Andrey Maslov the general director of the company today. As department head of the Russian Property Ministry Andrey Parshintsev reported, shareholders have elected a new board of directors of nine persons. But they have not adopted the annual report, the balance sheet, the profit and loss statement and the profit distribution statement. A decision on paying dividends was not made either.

According to Parshintsev, the audit commission inspected financial documents of the company and found them "falsified". The commission found that former general director of the company Alexander Akimov had attempted to conceal a part of incomes and profits. In the near future, an independent auditor will inspect the company. After this, a decision will be made on a special shareholder meeting.

Today, about 53 percent of the voting stocks took part in the meeting, which secured a quorum. According to Parshintsev, one majority shareholder of the company did not participate in the meeting though they had been informed about it.

Commenting on the results of the shareholder meeting, which took place on June 7 and was initiated by new shareholders of the company, Parshintsev pointed out there was actually no meeting. The procedure of calling and preparing the meeting was broken up. Additionally, the meeting did not take place where it had been appointed.

The state owns over 50 percent of the company's shares. New shareholders, who are at the same time Tyumenaviatrans shareholders, own a 49.7 percent stake.
