Money laundering could be behind the riot in Moscow

Grigory Nikulin, hero of the Soviet Union and former aid of the USSR Home Minister Andrey Dunayev:

"Such actions can lead to worst consequences, right up to the end of diplomatic relations with Japan. I think that both the Russian government and the Russian president need to apologize to Japan in order to avoid such an unpleasant development of the situation. Secondly, I believe that the home ministry and other law-enforcement departments should have their agents among those people who arrange such pogroms. I also believe that the State Duma should pass a law that would stipulate the most serious penalties for those who organize such crimes. Only these actions will help to prevent new acts of hooliganism. I have to say here that there can be some political figures behind the wild actions of the young people, and they can make good money on such riots. As far as I know, they launder huge money from drugs and arms sales with the help of such actions in Italy, so one may assume that something like that happened in Moscow."
