Preparation for Russian Expo Arms-2002 exhibition underway

A meeting of the organising committee for holding the Russian Expo Arms-2002 exhibition is being held in Nizhni Tagil (Urals) on Friday under the chairmanship of general director of the Russian Ammunition Agency Zinovi Pak.

As RIA Novosti was told in the government information department of the Sverdlovsk Region, it is planned that Pak will visit the testing ground of the Nizhni Tagil institute of metals testing where the exhibition will be held in July.

It is possible that establishment in the Sverdlovsk Region of a holding of eleven defence enterprises producing ammunition will also be discussed during Zinovi Pak's visit to Nizhni Tagil.
