Ural regional delegation in Austria

Austria's president Thomas Klestil confirmed his country's intention to develop fruitful and long-term relations with Russia. This statement was made by the Austrian leader at a press conference following the meeting with the Ural federal regional delegation.

Austria's president expressed his hope that a number of agreements and contracts, contributing to a more intensive cooperation between Russia and Austria even on the regional level would be signed during the Ural federal regional delegation's trip around Austria.

The meeting was held in the Viennese palace - Hofburg. After that the Ural delegation started for Lienz, where they would have negotiations with Austria's largest industrial factory "FEST-Alpine", "Steier Motors" company and "Steier Manlicher" armourer plant in Steier. These meetings will result in joint contracts between the Magnitogorsk Steel Mill and the Austrian company Ebner.
