Turkish authorities did not allowed to Yulia Timoshenko’s father-in-law to have a rest

According to Ukrainian information agencies, in Turkish health resort Antalia, four Ukrainian citizens have been detained as if wanted by Interpol and Ukrainian Public Prosecutor General’s Office, accused of abusing in natural gas sale. According to Milliet Turkish newspaper, all the four are associated with United Power Systems of Ukraine company, once headed by today’s opposition leader, Yulia Timoshenko. Among the detained, there is Yulia Timoshenko’s father-in-law, as if hiding himself from the investigation. All the four, were declared wanted because of financial machinations while supplying abroad natural gas. The detention of Gennady Timoshenko, Yevgeny Shago, Lidia Sokolchenko, and Antonina Bolgura was carried out yesterday by the local police in cooperation with Ukrainian special services. The detained will extradited to Ukraine in the nearest future.
