There is nothing extraordinary in this event, except but that all the Pole conquerors belong to the fair sex. Moreover, these British citizens have become the first completely male team which visited both Poles. The participants of the expedition are Caroline Hamilton and Ann Daniels. It is remarkable that their professions are no way connected with Arctic travels. Caroline Hamilton is a financier from London, while Ann Daniels is ex-banker from Devon. Moreover, Ann Daniels by herself brings up her triplets children. After having finished the expedition, Ann said that she was happy, because of the special feeling – to speak with her children from the very top of the world. “Now, I would like to return home and to have a normal dinner with them,” – she said. During the expedition, Ann Daniels talked every day to her children by satellite telephone. So, the former bank employee seems to be able to afford to her such a rather dear pleasure. While her fellow traveller reported that when they had arrived, they had established British flag on the top of the world and sung British hymn in honour of the Elizabeth II crowning anniversary. The expedition was lasting for 82 days. On 47th day, the third participant, 50-year-old Pom Oliver from Sussex had to return home because of foot frostbite. Further plans of the expedition are not known. Though, they, probably, will go somewhere else. The Earth is a big planet, all the more that not every corner of the planet was visited by a purely female expedition.
