LUKoil North Caspian Reserves Reach 950 Million Tonnes Equivalent

The volume of reserves at the Khvalynsk deposit in the North Caspian Sea, which was explored by LUKoil, has reached about 130 billion tons of natural gas and 10 billion tons of condensate, the LUKoil Vice President Anatoly Novikov announced at the second international oil and gas summit in Astrakhan today.

The summit “The Caspian Sea in the 21st century: from politics to business”. According to the LUKoil official, the total volume of reserves at this deposit was estimated at 950m tonnes of fuel equivalent.
