Republic of Ingushetia remains without government

The government of Republic of Ingushetia has sent in its resignation. On Saturday, President Murat Zyazikov took a decision about passing by the government of Republic of Ingushetia a declaration about abdicating responsibility. The procedure of resignation is foreseen by the Constitution of Republic of Ingushetia after the new President’s official assumption of an office. On Saturday, according to the President’s decree, cognizance of the republic’s executive bodies, of administrative, territorial bodies of Republic of Ingushetia was stopped. To form a new staff of the executive power, it is foreseen that former leaders temporary execute their duties. It should be remembered that the new President Murat Zyazikov’s inauguration took place May 23. Ingush ex-President Ruslan Aushev was not present at the ceremony, however his surrounding stated he would participate in the ceremony. It is not known what made Aushev not come to the inauguration. The reason was probably the arrival of Viktor Kazantsev, the Russian President’s plenipotentiary to the South Federal District, and his deputy Musa Keligov to whom Ruslan Aushev’s relation is not perfect.
