Romania Offers Gazprom To Be Partners

The plenipotentiary ambassador of Romania in Russia has invited Gazprom to participate in competition for the privatization of the Romanian state oil companies.

The offer was made at the meeting of the Gazprom board chapter Alex Miller and the ambassador of Romania Aurel Konstantin Ilie.

Ilie and Miller discussed the questions of Russian "blue fuel" deliveries on the market of Romania, a problem of storage of summer gas on territory of republic, and also an opportunity of creation of joint venture.

The Romanian ambassador has confirmed interest of the Romanian government in development of more dynamical and wide cooperation with the largest Russian gas company.

The sides have agreed to prepare materials about a course of cooperation in gas sphere for a meeting of heads of two countries. Miller has accepted the invitation of the ambassador to visit Romania with working visit.
