Suspected terrorists deny involvement in blasts

The three persons suspected of organizing terrorist acts in Makhachkala, deny their involvement in the blasts, which claimed human lives. On Sunday, in the Dagestan interior ministry, the journalists of national news agencies were offered an opportunity to meet the three persons suspected of involvement in the terrorist act in Kaspiisk, as well as other similar crimes, which had resulted in numerous casualties. The three persons had been detained in St. Petersburg and delivered to Makhachkala. For the first time their names were called. These are the Mamayev brothers, Artur and Zaur, and their namesake, Shamil Mamayev. They were born in Makhachkala, where they manufactured shoes before leaving for Chechnya. These people underwent training in terrorist activity in the detachment led by well-known warlord Rappani Khalilov, who was born in Dagestan. They deny their involvement in the terrorist act in Kaspiisk and other similar blasts set off by bandits in Makhachkala of late. At the same time, Artur Mamayev assumed responsibility for a terrorist act where no one suffered. This is an explosion of a military jeep at the doorway of the building of the military prosecutor's office in Makhachkala in late February this year. So far, all the three flatly deny their involvement in especially grave crimes, however, this is yet to be investigated.
