President Putin holds a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of India

The course of development of Russian-Indian cooperation in the first quarter of this year in the context of the implementation of the agreements reached at the top level was discussed on Saturday by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee. As the press service of the head of the Russian state reports, during a telephone conversation the sides expressed satisfaction with the results of contacts held on a regular basis between ministries and departments, as well as between the Security Councils of the two states. Discussed during the conversation were practical aspects of further development of interaction in the international arena, including within the framework of regional organisations, as well as some questions of trade and economic relations.
