Bloody exam. Student shot down all teachers

The tide of violence which covered many European countries (remember at least latest bloody crime in Nanterre) has reached Germany. Two armed people returned on Friday to the building of a grammar-school of the city of Erfurt, East Germany, and started firing, MDR-1 radio station referring to the police reports. 18 teachers of the educational institution, two pupils and a policeman were killed. According to the eyewitnesses, the tragedy started when the pupils received their examination tasks in mathematics. One of them said: “I don’t intend to sit for an exam.” Afterwards, he took out a pistol and started to shoot. According to the reports, one more person participated in the incident: ex-pupil of the same grammar-school. In the skirmish which took place afterwards, one of the young criminals was killed, while the other barricaded himself in a class room and took hostages. A similar crime was committed, however with easier consequences, in the US, this February. Former student of Catholic university of the city of Fairfield entered by force in the university building and, while menacing with explosion, took 17 hostages, including one professor. After some negotiations with the police, he released 11 students, while later released the rest hostages.
