Representatives from World Wild Nature Fund in Siberia

A representative delegation from the World Wild Nature Fund and the Global Ecofund, headed by Igor Chestin, the head of the Russian branch and Peter Newton, the coordinator of the Global Ecofund project are arriving in Kuzbass (Western Siberia). On the 24-25th of April the delegation will visit Tashtagol and meet its natives and ecological public, see the Museum of Ethnography and the work of the mountain-skiing complex, said the press-service of the Kemerovo region administration (the official name of the region). The Funds representatives will take part in an administrative board meeting, scheduled for April 26 in Kemerovo. The meeting will be devoted to the realization of the project on preserving biovariety in the Kemerovo region as well as to the presentation of the book "The System of Specially Protected Territories of the Altai-Sayan Ecoregion".
