The German utility giant RWE, which is the world's third largest water company, has agreed to buy a thirty four percent stake in the Polish municipal water company Pwik GmbH for an undisclosed price. RWE Aqua, the Germany company's water unit, will also work together with the city of Dabrowa Gornicza in the water management for a hundred and thirty five thousand people, it said in a faxed statement. The contract between Pwik and RWE Aqua will run for a quarter century.
