Nelson Resources Signs Alibekmola Pipe Deal

Kazakhoil Aktobe, a company that is fifty percent owned by Nelson Resources Ltd., has signed an agreement with KazTransOil to build an export pipeline from Alibekmola in western Kazakhstan. In a press release, the Toronto Stock Exchange-listed Nelson said that, at first stage, the pipeline will connect the Alibekmola oilfield to the Kenkiyak-Orsk pipeline and later, construction of the Kenkiyak-Atyrau pipeline, would allow Kazakhoil Aktobe to negotiate access to existing pipelines from Atyrau to export locations. It said the network of pipelines would, when completed, facilitate access to world markets for Nelson's crude oil. The proposed cost of the pipeline was not disclosed, the Financial Post said.
