The Otello of Ulyanovsk kills 3

A terrible crime, apparently jealousy-motivated, has been committed in the city of Ulyanovsk on Volga river. A city resident discovered a corpse in his backyard. After the police were called in, another two corpses were found. Two of the bodies were identified at once – they appeared to be a 33-yearold Yelena M. and a 26-yearold Pavel G. The 3d body was only identified two day later, because it was heavily mutilated. It proved that of Ramis S., also 26-yearold. The local procurator’s office, supervising the investigation, is leaning towards a viewpoint that the crime had been jealousy-motivated and committed by Yelena’s husband, a 25-yearold Alexei M. who has previous convictions. According to the investigators’ version, Yelena, accompanied by 2 men, came to see her relative who proved missing. The woman opened the door with her own key came into his relative’s house, and the whole company allegedly stayed for some time. Meanwhile, her husband, Alexei, had for several hours been searching for her wife. A well-wisher may had pointed him to her wife’s whereabouts, and he, having armed himself with two knives, had finally burst into the house. Asking no explanations, he allegedly attacked his wife and her pals. Apparently, he had been chasing his presumed offenders in the yard. After stabbing them one after the other, he disappeared, according to the version. The suspect was detained that very day – he had reportedly been hiding at his friend’s. Alexei declined to give evidence, but, as the investigators assert, his clothes were blood-stained. By the way, it is already 3d triple murder recorded in the Ulyanovsk Region this year thus far. The same was recorded for the last year alone.
