Vojislav Kostunica To Go To Usa Where On May 8 He Will Be Declared To Be Politician Of The Year

On Monday President of Yugoslavia Vojislav Kostunica is leaving for New York where on May 8 he will be declared to be Politician of the Year. This title was awarded to him by the well-known American institute East-West. Vice-Chairman of the government and Minister of Foreign Economic Relations Miroljub Labus and FRY Minister of Foreign Affairs Goran Svilanovic will go to the USA together with Kostunica. Presumably, the Yugoslav President will meet UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan at the headquarters of this international organisation. After the visit to New York Vojislav Kostunica will go to Washington where his meeting with US President George Bush and other officials is expected to take place.
