The World Bank's Global Conference Will Take Place In Petersburg On July 8-12

The Russian government has accepted the proposal of the World Bank to hold a Global Conference of the World Bank in St. Petersburg on July 8-12. It will take place under the name of "The Rights, Protection and Possibilities of Ensuring Them on the Basis of Law and Justice." As RIA Novosti was told in the Government Information Department, an organising committee has been set up for preparing and holding the conference which is headed by Russian Vice-Premier Viktor Khristenko. Russian Minister of Economic Development and Trade Gherman Gref has been appointed deputy chairman of the organising committee.
