Barricades grow around Ukrainian parliament

Tensions run high in the centre of Kiev, Ukraine, near the building of the Supreme Rada. 7 thousand people, protesting against the resignation of the government, gathered there. The protesters have already began to build barricades. One of the barricades has blocked the exit of the building. The demonstrators say they will not let the deputies, voted for Yushenko’s resignation, go out. At the same time, some demonstrators demand from parliament to begin a procedure of the President’s impeachment immediately. Victor Ushenko’s supporters have just tried to seize the building of the President’s administration. Policemen blocked their way. Policemen and protesters are just standing against each other, but none of them is moving forward.
