Russian President And Swiss Premier Get In Touch By Telephone

On Wednesday Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Swedish prime minister, Goran Persson, had a telephone talk. The Russian presidential press service reports that during their conversation, the two officials exchanged opinions on the results of the current visit by the Russian Prime Minister, Mikhail Kasyanov, to Stockholm. Both sides gave a positive assessment to the results of the negotiations held, which were mostly of a pragmatic character, and focused on specific joint projects expected to further the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
