A bomb exploded inside the Chechen republican organised-crime department in Gudermes last night. According to Chechen law-enforcement agencies, eight police officers were hurt as a result. The wounded policemen have already been treated; and nothing seems to threaten their lives at the moment. This new terrorist outrage was apparently perpetrated by Chechen separatists; however, it's still unclear, how they managed to enter the heavily guarded building. Top officers in charge of the Russian Interior Ministry's North Caucasus force have already left for Gudermes.
