Russian Government Submits Draft Law On Money Laundering For State Duma Consideration

Vladimir Putin said that the Russian government submitted a draft law on money laundering for the consideration of the State Duma (the lower house of parliament). RIA Novosti reports that Russian president Vladimir Putin said at the conference in the Kremlin on Monday that "this is a very important moment" in the work of the Cabinet of ministers aimed at making business in Russia "transparent not only for Russian businesses" but also for foreign partners. The president stressed that this is a "real and right step for Russia to enter the European and world economic space."
