Catholic Priest killed on Easter in Siberia
April 15 a body of 75-year-old priest Yan Frazkevich was found in a chapel of Yartsevo settlement, Yenisey district, Russia. Father Yan, a senior priest of Catholic parish of Bolshoy Norilsk, was on visit in Yartsevo. According to information, obtained by Television and Broadcasting Company Severny Gorod, the priest was killed in the chapel. The priest was to return to Norilsk a day before the Easter. However he came neither on Saturday nor on Sunday, and the Easter service was cancelled. Now a new pastor will take his place.
