“Brainputer”: the first machine capable of performing functions of human brain

Russian scientists have pioneered the machine capable of performing the functions of human brain. The intellectual machine is called “brainputer. ” The way a neurone, the human brain’s cell, works was used as a model for the brainputer’s operation, says Academician Vitali Valtsev of the International Informatization Academy. Foreign scientists, trying to create the artificial intelligence, have leaned on the model of a spinal cord neurone, developed as early as in 1940s, and their attempts have failed. The Russian “brainputer” has been developed using the cutting-edge data of neurophysiology and neuromorphology. At present, according to Academician Valtsev, the machine is undergoing primary education – like a newborn. At this stage, it is very important to implant into the brain an information which would prevent it from turning into a criminal or enemy.
