Russian government sells stock of open joint-stock companies established in the process of privatization

According to the information provided to RIA Novosti in the Department of governmental information, the Russian government issued instructions to sell stock of open joint-stock companies established in the course of privatization belonging to the state. The directive signed by the prime-minister consists of 19 companies whose stock will be sold in the first half of 2001. The list comprises coal companies "Kuzbassugol", "Kuznetskugol", Khakassugol", Nizhnevartovskneftegaz", a number of enterprises of metallurgical and chemical industries, as well as the Moscow river shipping company, the "Rosgosstrakh" insurance company.
