Piza’s leaning tower is not leaning any more

Leaning tower in Piza will be open for excursions, spokesmen for committee for saving the tower said. Piza tower had been closed for tourists for 11years because of the threat of destroying of the leaning construction. It became possible to open the tower again due to operation to “straighten” the tower and to fix its construction. Rescue works cost $ 30 million, MIGnews reports. Due to rescue works, the incidence of the tower was decreased by 40 centimetres. Today’s incidence of the tower is the same, as it was at the end of 18th century, experts say. It will be able to stand more 300 years without additional props. Now it became possible to proceed to artificial restoration of the construction. However not more than 30 persons can ascend to the top of the tower at the same time. It will cost $12 for one person.
