Debt of NTV totals $ 80 million

NTV newly appointed General Director Boris Jordan assesses the debt at approximately $80 million. NTV did not pay for production of programs and technical maintenance of the TV channel. This situation is not admissible as NTV can exist only if it is financially maintained, added Mr Jordan. So, Mr Jordan refuted assertions that this company has no financial problems, RIA Novosti reports. Citing lawyers, the new director general of NTV said that Tuesday's shareholders meeting was legal.
