Belgrad: Milosevic arrested?

Special police units have surrounded the residence of Slobodan Milosevic in Belgrade and it is reported that he has been arrested.

The timing of this arrest, if it is confirmed, is crucial, since it comes on the last day of the United States’ deadline for aid to be given to Yugoslavia. The United States Congress had stipulated that if ex-President Slobodan Milosevic was not handed over to the Hague Court by 31st March, the proposed aid package of 100,000,000 USD might be compromised.
