New appointments in Russian government. Woman to become depute defence minister

Essential moves took place in Russian government, RIA Novosti has just reported. Vladimir Putin discharged some ministers and appointed others instead of them. Putin appointed Sergei Ivanov (ex-Secretary of RF Security Council) as Russia's Defense Minister instead of Igor Sergeyev. Former Defence Minister became presidential aide for strategic stability. Ex-Internal Minister Vladimir Rushailo took the place of Secretary of RF Security Council. Boris Gryzlov became a new Internal Minister. Lyubov Kudelina is the first woman to be appointed as a Russian Deputy Defence Minister. Her former post was deputy Finance Minister.
