Gusinsky released on bail - 26 March, 2001

Spanish court decided to release the head of Media Most holding Vladimir Gusinsky on bail. Gusinsky was held in custody, waiting for the decree of the Spanish court at the request of Russian Public Prosecutor’s Office about the extradition. The amount of the bail is 5,3 million dollars. Until the final verdict is pronounced Gusinsky will have to register himself at police every day. Media Most welcomes the decision of the Spanish court to substitute house arrest for imprisonment.
